For business customers
In addition to cruises, Yokohama Sky Cruise also offers a variety of other services that are unique to helicopters. We will introduce some of the ways you can use them.
Heliport location
Heliport waiting room. The windows are covered with mirror film to block out views from the outside, and are used as a rest area and dressing room for performers.
If you shoot on a weekend when flights are scheduled in advance, you can reduce transportation costs and shoot at a low cost. We can flexibly respond to the timing of shooting due to changes in weather, etc.
Please note that the heliport is located within a pier managed by Yokohama City, so there are restrictions imposed by the city depending on the content of the photography. Although the clear view makes it suitable for photography, please note that photography that does not require a helicopter will not be permitted.
The heliport is one of the few wharves in Yokohama Port where photography is permitted. This requires permission and cooperation from Yokohama City, so photography is possible if you meet the conditions.
For inquiries regarding photography, please let us know the following points:
・Date and time of shooting, including any backup days
・Exposure media (dramas, commercials, promotional videos, stills, etc.)
・Filming content (how the performers interacted with the helicopter, etc.)
・The scale of filming, such as whether cranes or rails will be used, and the number of vehicles waiting, such as location buses
When scouting locations, we will ask for details and discuss costs and filming permission conditions.
Personnel transportation, events, charter flights
For resort areas where travel by car or train is inconvenient, or for those who want to travel quickly without getting caught in traffic jams, and still want privacy...helicopters offer outstanding mobility for such people.
For example, it takes about 25 to 30 minutes to travel from Minato Mirai to the scenic spots of Hakone.
In addition, charter flights, which are longer than regular cruises, are available for 30 minutes from Minato Mirai Heliport, allowing you to create a custom-made flight that takes you around your home, workplace, or central Tokyo.
Recently, we have received many inquiries from foreign customers about our Mt. Fuji tour flight (approximately 1 hour), which has been very popular.

Why twin-engine aircraft are used for transporting people

Red (twin-engine aircraft) Blue (single-engine aircraft): When traveling east to west, Hakone and Gotemba are often difficult spots due to the weather. The weather is changeable in the inland mountainous areas from Nagoya to Shizuoka, so aircraft generally fly along the coastline.
