We answer frequently asked questions from our customers.
Weather conditions that prevent helicopters from flying:
① Low clouds hanging over the tip of the Landmark Tower (300m above ground)
② Poor visibility from the Minato Mirai area with the Yokohama Bay Bridge obscured (visibility less than 2 km)
③ Strong winds with a wind speed exceeding 13m/s

There may be times when the aircraft cannot fly due to inspections or maintenance. In addition, the aircraft will be docked for approximately one month for annual airworthiness inspections (similar to vehicle inspections) and will be suspended for maintenance.
Scenic flights, like passenger planes at airports, carry an unspecified number of passengers, and there are various regulations regarding flying and maintenance set forth by the government.
Even if the problem is minor, it may not be possible to fly the helicopter unless it is repaired in accordance with maintenance regulations set by the government or helicopter company.
Although it may vary depending on the reservation situation and sunset time on the day, flights generally start around 16:00, with the last flight departing at 20:30. There are no flights after 21:00 due to consideration of noise pollution in the surrounding area.
Daytime flights may be possible depending on aircraft schedules.
According to Yokohama City regulations, weekday operating hours are generally from 9:00 to 16:00.
Sightseeing helicopters are required by law to have "green license plates," similar to those used for buses and taxis, and the Air Carriage Agreement stipulates that the aircraft must be insured in case anything happens to any of the passengers. The aircraft are operated with a compensation value of 2,500,000,000 yen per accident.
In addition, the heliport is registered as a travel agency and has special compensation provisions to ensure compensation in the event of an accident.
If the time you want is available, we can guide you on the same day. We also often guide customers who happen to see a heliport flying and want to try it out.
On a nice day, please feel free to ask, "Can I ride today?"
We can usually accommodate you, except during busy periods such as Christmas.
Generally, the only items you can bring onto the plane are valuables, cameras, and mobile phones.
We accept requests to give presents on board during the flight, so as long as the present fits in your pocket, it is OK to bring it on board. For security reasons, please let us know in advance.
You are allowed to take photos with your smartphone or camera. However, please refrain from using flash or lighting during night flights for safety reasons, as you will be in the same cabin as the pilot.
Please also note that extending selfie sticks is prohibited.
Infants between 1 and 2 years old can ride on the ride while being held on their parent's lap. Infants do not count towards the number of passengers, but there is a limit of 1 infant.
Example: adults - 2, elementary school child - 1, 2-year-old - 1, for a total of 4 people to ride.
Customers with wheelchairs or walking sticks will be escorted to the aircraft when boarding and staff will assist them when boarding and disembarking. Staff will take care of your wheelchair or walking stick during the flight and bring it to the aircraft when you disembark.

This is a frequently asked question.
Immediately after takeoff, your partner will be overwhelmed by the scenery and will spend some time looking at it, so it would be good if you could both enjoy the view. I would advise you to take a break midway through the flight.
The choice of course is up to you, but if it's a long flight we can give you plenty of time to decide the timing.
During the flight, you can wear a headset and have a normal conversation, so please keep an eye on your partner and make the most of your time.
Please arrange for the flower bouquet to be sent to a florist by the customer, and we will keep it at the heliport from 13:00 on the day of the flight. The flower bouquet will be handed over to the man after the customer boards the flight.
Although not-so-large bouquets can be brought on board, I have seen many times that recipients are much happier when they are presented with them as a second surprise after boarding.
